Is ‘A Minecraft Movie’ Getting a Sequel?
Warner Bros. has not announced a sequel toA Minecraft Movieyet, but director Jared Hess has confirmedthat talks have already begunon a new film behind the scenes at the studio. The end of the movie leaves the door open for a possible follow-up, while the post-credits scene straight-up teases a new character from the video game joining the movie franchise. It’s unclear if that character has an actor attached yet or if a story is in place for another installment, but fans “going wild” for it will surely help the film’s sequel chances. Hess’ statement:
