BritBox has announced the cast forMurder Is Easy, an all-new adaptation of theAgatha Christienovel. Filming has now started on the project, and a first look image can be seen above. The two-part thriller comes from Mammoth Screen (The Serpent,World on Fire) and Agatha Christie Limited (And Then There Were None,Death on the Nile) for BBC One and iPlayer in collaboration with BritBox International. Siân Ejiwunmi-Le Berre wrote the script while Meenu Gaur (Zinda Bhaag,World on Fire) is directing.

In the adaptation, which is set in England in 1954, “Fitzwilliam (Jonsson) meets Miss Pinkerton (Wilton), who tells him that a killer is on the loose in the sleepy English village of Wychwood under Ashe. The villagers believe the deaths are mere accidents, but Miss Pinkerton knows otherwise - and when she’s later found dead on her way to Scotland Yard, Fitzwilliam feels he must find the killer before they can strike again. Because for a certain kind of person, murder is easy…”

The Cast Has Been Revealed for Murder Is Easy

Filming onMurder Is Easyis currently underway in Scotland. A premiere date hasn’t yet been announced, butMurder Is Easyis set to air on BBC One and iPlayer in the UK.
