“For the past year, Sandra, her husband Samuel, and their eleven-year-old son Daniel have lived a secluded life in a remote town in the French Alps,” the official synopsis for Anatomy of a Fall begins. “When Samuel is found dead in the snow below their chalet, the police question whether he was murdered or committed suicide. Samuel’s suspicious death is presumed murder, and Sandra becomes the main suspect. What follows is not just an investigation into the circumstances of Samuel’s death but an unsettling psychological journey into the depths of Sandra and Samuel’s conflicted relationship.”

Directed by Justine Triet (Age of Panic, Sibyl) from a screenplay co-written by Triet and Arthur Harari,Anatomy of a Fallstars Sandra Hüller as Sandra, Samuel Theis as Samuel, and Milo Machado-Graner as Daniel, alongside Swann Arlaud, Antoine Reinartz, Jehnny Beth, Saadia Bentaieb, and Sophie Fillières.

Anatomy of a Fall Has Been Met With Critical Acclaim
Anatomy of a Fallhad its world premiereat the 76th Cannes Film Festivalback in May, where the film competed for the Queer Palm, ultimately winning the Palme d’Or and the Palm Dog Award. The thriller has been met with critical acclaim, and currently stands at a hugely promising ‘fresh’ rating of 98% on the review aggregator site, Rotten Tomatoes.
Collider’s Therese LacsonawardedAnatomy of a Falla perfect ‘A’ grade, and heaped praise on the way the film tackles to subject matter.
