The Academy Award winning actress reprises her role as Raven for a third time after appearing in the hit Mutant adventuresX-Men: First ClassandX-Men: Days of Future Past. This latest sequel is said to bring the X-Men prequel trilogy to a close, and it was originally supposed to beJennifer Lawrence’s last turn asMystique, as she once famously claimed she is done with the ‘blue paint’. But in recent weeks, she’s done a 360 and has revealed that she will come back if asked.
In this latest sneak peek atX-Men: Apocalypse, we see that New Mutant Nightcrawler, played byKodi Smit-McPhee, has been captured and brought to an underground fight club. He is literally dumped into a cage match againstBen Hardy’s Angel. Using his teleportation powers, Nightcrawler doesn’t look like an easy match, until he lands on the electrified fencing of the cage. Here comesRavento the rescue. As Nightcrawler is about to get his ass handed to him, Raven, decked out in the latest 80s fashions, attempts to sway one of the guards with her snake like charm.
