Avengers: Doomsdaywill be the ultimate crossover event for longtime Marvel fans, bringing back the original X-Men crew as well as other fan-favorites from a bygone era of the superhero genre. In addition tocasting a bevy ofX-Menactors,Doomsdaywill be getting some veteran superhero talent behind the camera. Fortunately, it seems that the nextAvengerssequel will look like anX-Menfilm in more ways than one.

According to several reports, veteran cinematographerNewton Thomas Sigelwill reunite with the Russo Brothers onAvengers: Doomsdayafter working onCherryin 2021. His previous credits also includeX-Men: Days of Future Past,Drive,Da 6 Bloods, and many more. His wide-ranging resume also includesBohemian Rhapsody, but we doubt there will be musicals in Doomsday. Sigel is an especially logical choice due to his previous working relationship with the directors onCherry, as well as shooting what is widely regarded as one of the bestX-Menfilms ever. Hopefully, this means more people fromDays of Future Pastwill be joining the upcoming team-up film, but Sigel is another exciting addition for now.
