In this new comedy fromSTX Entertainmentand the writers ofThe Hangover, Amy (Mila Kunis) has a seemingly perfect life - a great marriage, over-achieving kids, beautiful home and a career. However she’s over-worked, over-committed and exhausted to the point that she’s about to snap. Fed up, she joins forces with two other over-stressed moms (Kristen BellandKathryn Hahn) on a quest to liberate themselves from conventional responsibilities - going on a wild, un-mom-like binge of long overdue freedom, fun and self-indulgence - putting them on a collision course with PTA Queen Bee Gwendolyn (Christina Applegate) and her clique of devotedperfect moms.

The month of July isn’t exactly chocked full of comedies, withMike and Dave Need Wedding Dateshitting theaters on July 8, and the horror-comedy rebootGhostbustersarriving one week later on July 15, so it’s possible thatBad Momscould find a niche with comedy-starved adults this summer season.

It’s also worth noting, though, thatBad Momsis sandwiched between two highly-anticipated summer movies. Paramount’sStar Trek Beyondopens on July 22, with Warner Bros.‘Suicide Squadhitting theaters on August 5.
