What the heck is this dude doing now? After sitting through every single one of his movies as part of aperformance art piecein New York,Shia LaBeoufhas taken his wacky ways across the pond for a whole new ‘Shia’ Experience. Some are calling it genius, while some locals are calling it pure rubbish. It’s theLaBeoufhotline. And you can call right now at +44 (0)151 808 0771.

Shia LaBeouf’s UK hotline has a purpose. It is called the ‘Touch My Soul’ hotline. And that’s exactly what he wants you to do. He wants you to move him with your emotional stories. They can pretty much be about whatever. And as long as you keep the man captivate, and touch his soul, he will not hang up on you. Though, American callers are warned that this is a UK number, and that long distance rates do apply.

Shia LaBeoufhas certainly taken hiseccentric behaviorto all new heights. And he is manning this makeshift call center himself. He has set up a phone and a desk in the middle of a room, working alongside his hotline collaborators Nastja Sade Ronkko and Luke Turner. They are hunkered down in a Liverpool gallery, which you may see in some of the Tweets below. Shia is manning the main phone for the next four days. And the interactions are being streamed across the web.

There have been some issues, though. And like any call center, it has not been without it’s complaints. There is a long line of dissatisfied customers already. And that appears to stem from the mass amount of calls coming into the hotline. The sheer number of individuals trying to get through is making it nearly impossible for those with the biggest Soul Touching moments to tell their stories. But that frustration is supposed to be all part of the fun. You can visit the live video feed of the roomhere. Right now, the gang is taking a break. But they’ll be back.

One of the problems encountered by some who have gotten through is thatShia LaBeouflikes to answer the phone, and then quickly hang up. While this has angered some fans, it is said to all be part of the true modern day costumer service experience. The idea for the Hotline came out ofShia LaBeouf’s recentmovie experiment, where he was touched by all the audiences members that came to watch along with him, and what thatcommunalexperience was like. Here’s the full details on the ‘Touch My Soul’ hotline.

“From 11am GMT on 12 July 2025, #TOUCHMYSOUL by LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner will commence at FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology), 88 Wood Street, Liverpool. Over the next four days,LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner invite you to pick up your telephone and touch their soul on +44 (0)151 808 0771* between the hours of 11am - 6pm GMT. The project will also be broadcast live above for the duration. #TOUCHMYSOUL is part of the group exhibition Follow, open to visitors from 17 June 2025 until 25 July 2025 (admission free).”

So, if you’re anywhere near 88 Wood Street in Liverpool, you’re able to drop by and say hi to Shia and his team as they man the phones. Though, they will be too busy speaking with ‘customers’ on the other line to have a conversation with you. What do you think ofShia LaBeouf’s latest attempts at art? Cool? Or should he quit while he’s ahead.
