Three of the MCU’s biggest franchises could have crossover potential ifSpider-Man,Deadpool, andDaredevilwere to united under one team. The idea of these three legendary characters joining forces isn’t a new one, considering Team Red existed as a one-time comic in the late 2000s. However, the cinematic universe hasn’t witnessed the formation in any capacity. The closest it got was Charlie Cox’sDaredevilmaking a cameo inSpider-Man: No Way Home.
In the not so distant past, the thought of Spider-Man and Deadpool being a part of the MCU seemed like a pipe dream, but with Spider-Man joining duringCaptain America: Civil War, and Deadpool making the leap duringDeadpool & Wolverine, infinite possibilities have emerged. With Cox remaining as Daredevil for theDaredevil: Born Againseries, naturally, he was posed the question about the potential team up. According toScreen Rant, at Rose City Comic-Con 2024, Cox finally addressed the possibility of a crossover in the vaguest possible way. He said:

“I’ll have to check my schedule!”
The Idea Of Team Red Has Been Teased In The Past
While the trio of Spider-Man, Deadpool, and Daredevil has not been directly foreshadowed, the appearance of Cox’s Daredevil character in the latest installment of the Spider-Man franchise, left a lot of questions about what could be. Even though his character was in the film for mere moments, it left an impact on Spider-Man actor, Tom Holland, who opened up toThe Hollywood Reporterin 2022, teasing the possibility of the red-suited heroes teaming up in a larger capacity.
Charlie was a lot of fun. It was really cool to see him snap back into a character that I am really a fan of and that he has a lot of love for, obviously. So it was pretty awesome, and I hope that one day we find a way for Spider-Man and Daredevil to team up again.

More teases involving this trio were givenduring the press for Daredevil & Wolverine, with Ryan Reynolds expressing his love of Holland’s work as the webbed hero. He stated:“If I could pick one, I’d love to play Spider-Man. Tom Holland is amazing.”
Charlie Cox Says a Ben Affleck Daredevil Easter Egg Was Cut from His MCU Debut
Charlie Cox’s debut in the MCU was originally going to make a meta reference to Jon Favreau’s past Marvel life.
It’s unclear at this time if the trio will actually have the chance to work together, but for now, all three remain under the umbrella of the MCU.Spider-Man 4hired it’s director, Daredevil is coming once again withthe most brutal action ever, and Deadpool is lurking as well after itsbox office milestones. Kevin Feige has previously suggested wanting to put a lot of focus on “street-level heroes” at some point in the future, which could finally see at least some of this team-up becoming a reality.
