Last week, it was announced that 20th Century Fox will be hosting a global screening ofX-Men: Apocalypse, which took place earlier today in London. During the red carpet coverage of the event, a new clip was shown, which has Scott Summers, a.k.a. Cyclops (Tye Sheridan), first discovering his unique powers in an unlikely place. While we don’t know for sure if we’ll see the origins of other mutants' abilities in this movie, this clip reveals how one bully was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The clip, which debuted on theX-Men Movies UK Facebookpage, opens with a high school teacher giving a presentation on mutant history, revealing how humans first learned about mutants during the Paris Peace Accords in 1973. While the teacher shows slides of Magneto’s (Michael Fassbender) attack on the White House, one of her students,Scott Summers, starts having a problem with his eyes. When a bully thinks Scott is winking at his girl, Scott asks to be excused to go to the bathroom. This bully follows him into the bathroom, pounding on the stall door, when a powerful blast is emitted from Scott’s eyes, destroying the bathroom and knocking the bully into the sinks.

Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign.
As the fate of Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence), with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy), must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
