With less than three weeks left untilDeadpoolhits the big screen, anticipation for this superhero adventure is higher than ever, as we count down the days. To help make this excruciating wait just a bit more bearable, composerJunkie XLhas shared a new track from his soundtrack, entitled “Maximum Effort.” While we don’t know where exactly this track plays during the movie, it most certainly has a unique sound, but that is to be expected from this composer, who provided the score for last year’sMad Max: Fury Road.

If that wasn’t enough,DeadpoolstarRyan Reynoldstook to hisTwitterpage earlier today to reveal a new photo, which features his title character unmasked, while pointing a gun at an unknown enemy. The photo also came with a unique message from the actor, which includes a reference toDavid Hoff, formerly known asDavid Hasselhoff. Here’s what he had to say below.

“Berlin! Finally I can see the place where David Hasselhoff has destroyed the wall with his powerful voice!”

Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero,Deadpooltells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter egoDeadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor,Deadpoolhunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Box office analysts started tracking the superhero adventure last week, with some even claiming that it could hit north of $60 million in its opening frame. The 20th Century Fox film will go up against Warner Bros. romantic comedyHow to Be Single, which doesn’t have any early tracking data yet, and Paramount’scomedysequelZoolander 2, which analysts are predicting will open with $20 million. If these projections are accurate, the R-ratedDeadpoolwill have a higher opening weekend than both the originalX-MenandX-Men: First Class.
