Yesterday, Warner Bros. debuted a new set ofcharacter postersfor their upcoming comic book adaptationSuicide Squad, featuring the main characters that make up Task Force X. Today we have even more character posters, although these are much different, featuring comic book inspired artwork for the eleven main characters. These posters feature The Joker (Jared Leto), Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne) and Boomerang (Jai Courtney).
These posters debuted onFacebook, and also feature Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman), El Diablo (Jay Hernandez), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Katana (Karen Fukuhara) and Slipknot (Adam Beach). It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Supervillains, provide them with the mostpowerful arsenalat the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

Warner Bros. recently announced aHarley Quinnspinoff that may also feature characters like Batgirl and the Brids of Prey. Another report revealed that the studio is considering spinoffs for bothThe Jokerand Boomerang as well, but it isn’t known how far along in development any of these projects are. Another report claimed the studio wants director David Ayer to come back for Suicide Squad 2, with the studio eyeing an early 2017 shoot, although that hasn’t been confirmed.

WithSuicide Squadopening just a few weeks before San Diego Comic-Con this year, we don’t know for sure if this movie will have a presence at SDCC this year. It’s possible that the studio may put together a surprise early screening in San Diego, but that’s only speculation at this point.
