The season to be jolly is here, andAMC+has a wide range of TV shows to watch during the holiday season. It’s that time of year when audiences will be bombarded with holiday-themed TV shows and movies, but luckily, AMC+’s December lineup will be a breath of fresh air, as the TV shows that will be featured on the platform are devoid of the usual Christmas content. However, that’s not to say that there won’t be any holiday specials featured on AMC+.Capitalizing on Christmasis a tactic that is widely used in the movie and TV industry.
However, unlike other streaming platforms, AMC+ still finds its footing in a world filled with too many competitors. AMC+ will feature both new shows making it to the streaming platform for the first time and returning TV shows this December. The AMC+ TV series lineup offers a variety of TV shows to dive into during the season of giving. From period dramas to mystery thrillers, AMC+ has a wide selection of TV shows for viewers who need a break from all the Christmas content available in December.
Pan Am (Season 1)

For viewers who are feeling nostalgic for a period drama,Pan Amwill be added to AMC+’s media library this December. Set in the 1960s,Pan Amchronicles the lives of the pilots and cabin crew of Pan American World Airways' Clipper Majestic. Created by Jack Orman,Pan Amseamlessly blends historical events with a well-crafted fictional narrative that keeps viewers enthralled. With an incredibly talented cast that includesBarbie’s Margot Robbie, who plays Laura Cameron, Christina Ricci as Margaret “Maggie Ryan,” Kelli Garner as Catherine “Kate” Cameron, and Karine Vanasse as Colette Valois,Pan Amwill go down in history as one of the bestperiod dramas that ended way too soon.
In addition to the amazing cabin crew, Micheal Mosley and Mike Vogue star as pilots Ted Vanderway and Dean Lowery, respectively.Pan Amoriginally aired on ABC for its first season, but the studio canceled it before the second season began. Talks between Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios were held about picking up the show for a second season, but that, too, did not pan out. The series only ever received one season, and it can be streamed on Dec. 21 on AMC+.

The suspense takes center stage when it turns out that the car is registered to the campaign committee of Darren Richmond, who happens to be running for mayor against Lesley Adams, played by Tom Butler.The Killingwill be available for streaming on Dec. 4, with additional seasons added every Monday.
Being Human (UK) (Seasons 1 to 5)

Being Human(UK) follows a trio of supernatural beings as they try to live a normal life. George Sands (Russell Tovey) is a 20-something-year-old werewolf, and John Mitchell (Guy Flannagan) is a vampire over a hundred years old but looks and behaves like he is still in his twenties. Rounding up the trio is Annie Sawyer (Annie Crichlow), a ghost who haunts the house that Sands and Mitchell move into.
Since the twoare supernatural beings, they can see and communicate with Annie. Despite being different in every way, from two races that have been in feuds since time immemorial, the two foster a deep friendship and try to navigate everyday life by trying to live like regular human beings. The series strikes a balance between the supernatural and the relatable while exploring the themes of friendship, the struggle for identity, and love.Being Human(UK) will be available for streaming on AMC+ on Dec. 14.
