This November, Prime Video will add a new variety of content, including shows coming to the platform for the first time and returning TV series. One of the most anticipated TV shows featured on the streaming platform is the superhero animationInvincibleseason 2. The long-awaited show has been two years in the making, and fans will finally get an answer to the cliffhanger that season one ended on.
There is also a new international supernatural horror series hailing from Spain calledRomancerothat will be making its way to the streaming platform in November. Finally, a new dating TV show about a group of 10 twins taking part in a social experiment will be featured. Based on the comic book character by Robert Kirkman, Invincible follows Mark Grayson, a seventeen-year-old who leads a seemingly average life save for the fact that he lives behind the shadow of his superhero father, Omni-Man. Mark goes on to develop superhuman abilities, but he must also learn that his father’s legacy isn’t as glitzy and glamorous as he’s been led to believe.
Invincibleis one of Prime Video’s most successful TV shows, and more than two years after season 1 ended, fans of the show will get to see their favorite heroes in an explosive second season.Based on a comic bookseries by Robert Kirkman,Invinciblefollows a young superhero, Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), as he learns to use the powers that he inherited from his father, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons), who has Superman-like abilities. Like all young superheroes, Mark struggles with balancing his personal life and superhero duties, but he eventually gets confident with his skills with the help of his superhero friends.
When a league of powerful superheroes called the Guardians of the Globe are killed, the Global Intelligence Agency begins investigating their death. Initially, no one suspects that the only person powerful enough to kill them is Omni-Man, but eventually, his dark secret comes out, which ensues into an epic fight between Mark and his father. It turns out Omni-Man was part of the Viltrum Empire. The Viltrums had been conquering planets for centuries. They would send their strongest citizens to a target planet and have them kill their most powerful defenders. Omni-Man was one of the Viltrum soldiers sent to conquer Earth, which is why he mercilessly killed the Guardians of the Globe.

Invincibleseason 2picks up from where the first season ended. After finding out about his father, Mark faces an identity crisis and worries that he might be more like him than he realizes. He has to rebuild whatever is remaining of his life after his father leaves while also fighting new threats that seek to destroy the planet. Omni-Man likely returned to Viltrum after his complicated feelings for Mark prevented him from killing his son, but chances are he’ll be back.
A new villain,Angstrong Levy (Sterling K. Brown), will be introduced in season 2 ofInvincible. The show’s creator also teased that there might be a multiverse aspect in the new season. Avid fans of the show were disappointed to learn that the second season of the critically acclaimed show will be split into two parts. The first part will be available for streaming on Nov. 3, while the second half is expected to premiere early in 2024.
