Searchlight Pictures’See How They Runwill soon be coming home, as the whodunnitmurder mysteryhits all major digital platforms on Jun 17, 2025. The home release comes with a peek behind the curtain at the making of the movie, and we have an exclusive clip to premiere from behind the scenes. you may check out our clip below, which gives a look at how the wardrobe choices were crafted with the crew and director Tom George.
“It’s nice to do something fun,” costume designer Odile Dicks-Mireaux says in the clip. “I hadn’t done a comedy in a while in a period that I adore. Tom wanted everything to be as real as possible, and he knows that I like to work with that. And then you can heighten it with your colors, and choices, and combinations.”
She also explained how one of the first discussions that came up for the wardrobe was the parties when viewers meet the characters for the first time. George wanted to be sure that each of the characters had a distinct look, and Dicks-Mireaux. This meant putting in different details on the outfits of all the characters, even if they’re all wearing black.
The clip also gets into the costumes of some of the other characters, such as Saoirse Ronan’s Constable Stalker. Ronan noted how her role as a female police officer in Scotland Yard is unusual, making it that much more interesting for her to take on.
Of Ronan’s wardrobe, Dicks-Mireaux added, “Married women were allowed to be in the police force. They were allowed to wear a little bit of make-up. All these things that weren’t really allowed before for women.”
