Just days after Disney seemed to leak the premiere date for the upcoming Marvel seriesShe-Hulk, a brand new trailer bringing the first look atTatiana Maslany’s titular heroine had arrived confirming that the show will hit Disney+ on August 17. Expanding on the previous teaser, the trailer also revealed the full title of the series, which isShe-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

In the new footage, we have finally been given a first full look at Maslany as Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who is given more than she bargained for after receiving a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner and finds herself becoming She-Hulk when she gets angry. Also bringing new looks at Jameela Jamil as villain Titania, Tim Roth as the Abomination, and the return ofMark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, and potentially his human form of Banner, there is a lot to digest from the nearly two-minute trailer.

She-Hulk is one of the most anticipated shows heading to Disney+ from Marvel Studios this year, but a number of recentlyreports have suggested that series is “a mess.”While we know that the show is being pitched as a “half-hour legal comedy”, until now it has been hard to envision exactly what that could entail considering there has been only a limited amount of footage revealed. With the trailer bringing its first look at Maslany’s Hulk form, that means it is probably time for fans to start picking apart everything that has been offered up to them in this unexpected arrival.

Instant reactions from fans on the trailer were massively positive, with The Canadian Lad commenting, “Every Marvel show so far exceedingly outperformed their movies in Phase 4 or at least that’s what I think. This show will be nothing different, already looks so freaking unique and EPIC!”, while Matt El Comicologo said, “Looks really great. I just have a little concern about the CGI though hopefully it will be fixed when the series premieres so she won’t look cartoonish. Other than that, we got Blonsky back!!!!! And the actress looks amazing.”

She-Hulk’s CGI Has Always Been A Worry For Fans

Of course, Marvel Studios spare no expense when it comes to their movie output, but when it comes to the Disney+ shows there is always going to be a lower budget. For that reason, a series likeShe-Hulkwas always going to be a worry when it comes to the CGI-heavy lead characters and that has shown in some shots in the trailer.

However, there are still three months to go beforeShe-Hulkmakes its debut on Disney+, which means that the footage in the trailer may not be exactly as it appears when the show premieres in August. It was believed thatShe-Hulkwas planned to come to Disney+ beforeMs Marvel, but perhaps there is a little more time needed to finalize the special effects before the jolly green giants stomp their way into Disney+. One thing for certain is that whenShe-Hulkarrives in all her fourth-wall-breaking glory, it is going to bring one of the most unique shows sinceWandaVisionto the MCU.
