The Gentlemen Season 2 Is Coming

The Gentlemenseries was an aristocratic hit for Netflix. The show dominated the streamer’s Top 10 chart upon its release in March, as fans were obsessed with the director’s episodic crime story. Setin the same worldas the similarly named movie,The Gentlemanfollowed the inheritance battle within the Horniman family, which included the secret underground drug empire grown under their estate. Given the show’s popularity, a second season was inevitable.Season 2 was greenlit by Netflixthis August. Theo James and Kaya Scodelario are confirmed to return, as is Guy Ritchie to direct and co-write with Matthew Read. Anne Mensah, Netflix’s UK VP of Content, said in a statement following the renewal:

The series was initially planned as a Ray Donovan spin-off.

The director is currently in post-production on his new movie,In the Grey,which is currently slated to release in 2025. The film reunites Ritchiewith Henry Cavill and Jake Gyllenhaal. The official synopsis reads:
