Girlspremiered on HBO in 2013 and ran for six solid seasons. Lena Dunham was the creator, star, and genius behind the series depicting four young women navigating life in New York City after college. The fabulous cast consisted of Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet, and Adam Driver, among others. It was a realistic and refreshing look into honestrelationships between young women. At the same time, it was a love letter to life in New York City.
