As per a report byDeadline, the actor, who was awarded the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role inEverything Everywhere All at Once, will star inWith Loveand work under the direction ofJohn Wick’sJonathan Eusebio.
Ke Huy Quan is best known for his early roles in the likes ofThe GooniesandIndiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, with the actor having been launched back onto the A-list after several decades thanks to his role in the multiversal action comedy,Everything Everywhere All at Once. Since then, Ke Huy Quan has been selective about what roles should follow, appearing in the Netflix seriesAmerican Born Chineseand joining theMCU in the second season ofLoki.

Jonathan Eusebio, meanwhile, will make his directorial debut withWith Love. Eusebio has extensive experience in the action movie genre, having worked as a stunt coordinator on the first threeJohn Wickmovies,The Matrix Resurrections, and last year’sViolent Night, on which he was also second unit director. His credits also includesDeadpool 2, Birds of Prey, Black Panther,andObi-Wan Kenobi.
As forDavid Leitchand Kelly McCormick’s 87North, the production company has an extensive background in bringing explosive action movies to audiences, including theJohn Wickseries,Nobody, Bullet Train, and Leitch’s ownThe Fall Guy, which is due to hit theaters this year.

Written by Luke Passmore from an original script by Josh Stoddard (Warrior) and Matthew Murray, plot details forWith Loveare under wraps at this time. But, considering the action movie pedigree behind the project, and with Ke Huy Quan in the lead, we could be in for a real treat.

Ke Huy Quan has shared how emotional his return to movies has been for himsince his Oscar win, revealing that he teared up when asked by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige to join the MCU in season two ofLoki.
“Then finally he says, ‘Ke we would love for you to join the MCU family.’ I was driving at that time. I start tearing up, and I couldn’t see the road anymore. I said, ‘Kevin, can you give me two seconds?’ I pulled the car over, put it in park and I said, ‘Please continue.’ He says, ‘We have this great character for you, Ouroboros.”
The actor has an extensive background in martial arts and stunts, something which he showed off inEverything Everywhere All at Once, and no doubt he will make a captivating action lead inWith Love.
