Yellowstone

Yellowstone stars Kevin Costner and centers on his character John Dutton. Dutton and his family live on a cattle ranch just a few hours away from Yellowstone National Park. The series chronicles the family’s struggle to defend their home from an Indian reservation and land developers. As if their life wasn’t complicated enough, the Duttons also have medical issues, political aspirations, and family secrets stacked against them.

The Madisonis believed to be set to start filming this month on location, and will be the nextYellowstoneseries to air after the second part of the flagship series’ finale plays out. Fans have waited a long time for news of this new spin-off to move forward, after it was originally announced last year and wasexpected to attempt to draw Matthew McConaughey in as lead. However, it is not clear whether theDallas Buyers Clubstar will still be looking to join the series, or if he has been replaced by Russell.

Yellowstone is Concluding, but the Franchise is Still Expanding

The end of the centralYellowstonestory is perhaps not coming to an end in the way it was originally intended. According to Kevin Costner, who will not be returning for the new episodes, the show was expected to run for another season, possibly two, but following the confusing chaos surrounding his exit, plans seemingly changed very quickly.

Although most of the publicity around the show’s culmination has been focused solely on Costner, the end of the series is certainly not the end of the franchise. As well asThe Madison, Sheridan has many more shows either in development or production that will keep the franchise alive and kicking for several years to come.
