Fans would normally be enjoying a new episode ofThe Flashtonight, andArrowtomorrow, but due to the Thanksgiving holiday, both shows are on a short hiatus. However, your favorite heroes from Central City and Star City will be coming together once again, with a two-nightcrossover event, starting withThe FlashepisodeLegends of Todayon Tuesday, December 1 and theArrowepisodeLegends of Yesterdayon Wednesday, December 1. Following the extended trailer that debuted last week,The CWunveiled new photos from both episodes that you can check out below.
InThe Flash’s second major crossover event withArrow,Vandal Savage(guest starCasper Crump) arrives in Central City and sets his sights on Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renee). After Vandal attacks Kendra and Cisco, they turn to Barry for help. Realizing how dangerous Vandal is, Barry takes Kendra to Star City and asks Oliver and team to hide her until he can figure out how to stop Vandal. However, things quickly go from bad to worse when a man with wings AKA Hawkman (guest starFalk Hentschel) shows up and flies off with Kendra. Meanwhile, Harrison develops a serum to make Barry run faster and asks Jay (guest starTeddy Sears) to test it out.

TheArrowhalf of the crossover,Legends of Yesterday, follows Oliver and Barry as they take Kendra Saunders and Carter Hall to a remote location to keep them hidden from Vandal Savage while they figure out how to defeat him. Malcolm (John Barrowman) arranges a meeting between Vandal, Green Arrow and The Flash that doesn’t go as planned. Meanwhile, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), Thea (Willa Holland), Diggle (David Ramsey) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) work with Team Flash to come up with a weapon powerful enough to destroy Vandal Savage.
Given the titles of both these crossover episodes, and the inclusion of Vandal Savage, Hawkman and Hawkgirl, it seems clear that The CW is using this crossover to set up their next spinoff series,DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. The network announced yesterday thatDC’s Legends of Tomorrowwill debut on Thursday, January 21 at 8 PM ET on The CW, giving fans three nights in a row of superhero-centric shows.DC’s Legends of Tomorrowalso starsArthur Darvill(Rip Hunter),Franz Drameh(Jax Jackson),Victor Garber(Dr. Martin Stein),Caity Lotz(White Canary),Brandon Routh(Atom),Wentworth Miller(Captain Cold) orDominic Purcell(Heat Wave), but it isn’t known if any of these stars will be featured in the crossover.

Ciara Renee’sHawkgirlhas already been featured in a few episodes ofThe Flashthus far, but this crossover will be the first time we see her transform into Hawkgirl. We also learned from a trailer released last week that the crossover will also include footage from a fan screening of both episodes, including a Q&A with the stars of both shows. We’ll be sure to keep you posted with more footage and photos from the upcomingArrowandThe Flashepisodes, but for now, take a look at the new photos.
