Now, bothDwayne JohnsonandLin-Manuel Mirandahave released a new video that teases a project they’re working on calledMillennials: The Musical. While this preview video screams parody, the full musical will actually debut on Tuesday, November 29.
This eight-minute teaser debuted on the Seven BucksYouTube, where bothDwayne JohnsonandLin-Manuel Mirandatell how that they were both pitched this idea through Twitter from a filmmaker named “Michael Palomar” for this musical. This video shows how this group ofmillennialsreact to the script being changed at the last minute by the filmmaker, and much more. It isn’t known if this will actually be a feature-length musical, or if the entire production will be amusical parodylike this eight-minute preview. We also get to see the filmmaker trying to convince the choreographer to change all of the dance routines and the composer change all of the songs, just days before opening night. Unfortunately, we don’t get to see any of the dance routines or hear any of the songs in this extended sneak peek, so we’ll have to wait until Tuesday for the full musical.
