Millie Bobby Brown has addressed thoseThe Eternalscasting rumors and denies them. The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s future is a mystery at this point, but Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige will shed some light on the situation next week at San Diego Comic-Con. However, it does not look like he will be inviting the youngStranger Thingsstar to the stage to introduce her as a part ofThe Eternalscast. When Brown was asked about the casting rumors back at the end of May, she claimed to not even know what the movie was.
Most recently,Millie Bobby Brownaddressed her fans directly during an Instagram live session. The actress spoke about Converse shoes,Stranger Thingsseason 3, and a range of other topics before going on to addressThe Eternalsrumors. For the second time, Brown has shot down the rumors surrounding her MCU debut. She had this to say.
“OK, guys, this is the problem. Everybody thinks thatI’m going to be in a Marvel movie. Not that I know of. My family and I have no idea. So, I just want to let everybody know that I’m not… as of right now.”
While Millie Bobby Brown is denying her involvement inThe Eternals, she could be just keeping an MCU secret. Marvel Studios has a pretty stellar track record of keeping their secrets and Brown might be keeping their reputation going in the public eye. However, she seems pretty convincing about not being in the movie or having a place in the MCU at this time. That doesn’t mean that it won’t happen at some point down the line, but it might not be as soon as many MCU andStranger Thingsfans were hoping.
Kumail Nanjiani was also recently asked about his involvementinThe Eternals. While the actor says he would “love” to be a part of the MCU and in a superhero movie, he can’t talk about the situation. It is expected that Kevin Feige will mention his name as being a part of the cast next weekend in San Diego. Nanjiani has been working out with a trainer and is in the best shape of his life, which has led many people to believe he will be starring in the movie, confirming initial reports of his casting earlier this year.
In addition to (possibly) Millie Bobby Brown and Kumail Nanjiani,The Eternalsisexpected to star Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Salma Hayek, and Dong-seok Ma. Marvel Studios has yet to officially even announce the movie is happening, but that will all change very soon when Kevin Feige addresses fans down in San Diego next weekend. Among the other things Feige will probably talk about are the standaloneBlack Widowmovie,Guardians of the Galaxy 3,Shang-Chi,Black Panther 2,Doctor Strange 2, and the Disney+ MCU streaming shows. The Hall H event will also be a time of celebration asAvengers: Endgameapproaches the highest grossing movie of all time milestone. you’re able to check out the response toThe Eternalsrumors below, thanks toMillie Bobby Brown’s Instagramaccount.
