The synopsis ofK.O.reads, “A former fighter must find the missing son of an opponent he accidentally killed years ago, taking on a brutally violent crime gang in Marseille.”

The 15 Best Action Movies of the Century So Far
Buckle up and strap in tight, these are the 15 best action movies of the last 25 years.
K.O.stars Ciryl Gane in the lead role, with Alice Belaidi, Kofs, Malaume Paquin, and Virgile Bramly supporting. Director Antoine Blossier clearly has an eye for the genre, as unlike many other action movies, the reviews have been very positive, including some audience reviews saying that one big flaw is that the film should have been longer, or a “part two” should be put into production straight away.

While there have not been many reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, the two critical reviews praise the movie for its “healthy dose of violent retribution,” and for the realism in its fight scenes which “benefit from not having been edited to pulp or distractingly embellished with visual effects.”Road House, take note.
What Have Audiences Said About K.O.?
Over on IMDb, viewers have praisedK.O.as an action movie that really delivers everything you could want, and once again hail a foreign language movie that does what so many American movies fail to do – make a movie that does not feel fake, forced, and over-produced. One reviewer said:
“This low budget is a exciting movie there are frenetic action fight scenes, suspense, thrills and the good part lots of violence in this movie. Overall it’s a pretty entertaining movie UFC fans and gritty action movies fans will like this movie Cyril Gane is top-notch as a action movie hero.”

Another reviewer noted that the film does not have “too many cliches” and keeps its fights “clean” rather than swamping them in jumpy camera work and enhanced CGI effects. A third lamented the fact the movie has, like many foreign language movies released in the U.S. gone straight to streaming rather than having a theatrical run, calling it a much more worthy cinematic contender than movies produced by “the former Europacorp Luc Besson’s crap factory.”
Foreign-language movies, even when given an English-language dub for those who have allergic reactions to anything with subtitles, still get a tough run when hitting the U.S. market. However, their constant strong performance on streaming platforms suggests that there is a waiting audience out there who just want to see good movies, no matter where they are made.K.O.is just another incredible action offering from outside the U.S. that you really should be watching.
