LEGO has delivered some stunning sets based on the biggest IPs, including Avengers Tower and severalLord of the Ringssets. Fans have come to expect elaborate depictions of some iconic locations, scenes, and characters, and some of the most popular ones have been based on movies from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Recreating battles and scenery in impressive detail has been the biggest selling point of the sets. However, the latest Lego set based on arguably the most significant moment inAvengers: Endgamehas turned out to be a big disappointment for many fans.
LEGO’s MarvelAvengers: EndgameFinal Battle (76323) set was recently revealed and will be released on August 14, 2025. Given its name, fans would expect it to be a massive undertaking with plenty of pieces to do the scene justice. However, this new set is surprisingly small, with just 621 pieces included. While the set includes an impressive 10 mini-figures, the backdrop fans are supposed to build around them is bland and unremarkable.

Russo Brothers Address How ‘Secret Wars’ Has to Stack Up Against ‘Avengers: Endgame’
Is it possible for the Russo brothers to outdo their work on ‘Avengers: Endgame’ with ‘Secret Wars? They hope so.
The set mainly comprises the rubble that remains after theAvengers compoundis blown up in the film, with the most significant standout being the Avengers logo that fans can build. Moreover, there is one creative aspect in which magic portals can be made, with corresponding mini-figures placed to make it look like they are coming out of them. Unfortunately, this latest LEGO Marvel playset has many disappointing aspects despite a somewhat creative design.

This ‘Avengers: Endgame’ LEGO Set is Inconsistent and Overpriced
There are multiple reasons why thisAvengers: Endgameset is so disappointing. For starters, it’s been pointed out by fans in the LEGO community that the Captain America and Black Panther mini-figures are the same as those from theCaptain America: Civil WarLEGO sets rather than being redesigned to match the costumes seen in the movie. Moreover, figures like Ant-Man, while still being an interesting design to evoke his Giant-Man transformation, are much less impressive than what came before.
TheCaptain America: Civil WarAirport Battle Playset came with a much more impressive version of Giant-Man, one that wasn’t a mini-figure hidden in a medium-sized Lego build but instead, a well-proportioned giant build that stood out in the set that it came in. There is also the price issue, as the Final Battle playset is currently priced at $99.99, a steep cost for a LEGO that comes with very few pieces. This price problem becomes even more apparent when you look at bigger, similarly priced sets such as TheGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3Bowie Ship set, which costs the same amount but has almost double the amount of pieces as the Endgame Final Battle.

Overall, while receiving a LEGO set depicting such an iconic scene from the MCU is incredibly exciting, it’s disappointing that it is on such a small scale. So many flourishes could have been added, and more consistency with the mini-figures would have made it stand out and worth the $100 price tag. Die-hard MCU fans may find this set worthy of purchasing, but others may want to think twice before splurging on such an underwhelming set.
