Last night, fans got a new glimpse atTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadowswith thetrailerthat debuted duringSuper Bowl 50, giving us our first look at the villainous Krang. As it turns out, fans don’t have to wait much longer for even more footage, withComic Book Movieuncovering yet another TV spot, which gives us a fresh look atStephen Amell’s Casey Jones,Megan Fox’s April O’Neil andLaura Linney’s mysterious character. It isn’t known when we’ll get the second full trailer, after the first trailer debuted back in December.
We also showed you a trailer preview last week that gave us our first look atLaura Linney’s mystery character,Tyler Perryas Baxter Stockman andStephen Amellas Casey Jones, along with Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady in action. A rumor surfaced in August that Bebop & Rocksteady will “mutate” halfway through the movie, but that was never confirmed. These characters debuted in the original TV series, and were thugs in a street gang that Shredder recruited to become mutated, in order to defeat theNinja Turtles. We get new footage of all of these characters in the latest TV spot.

Very little is known about the story at this point, although many fans were pleased about the inclusion of fan-favorite characters Casey Jones, Bebop and Rocksteady. There has also been a rumor that the sequel will feature alive-actionversion of Krang, a villain created for the original animatedTeenage Mutant Ninja TurtlesTV series.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is slated for release on July 13, 2025, putting it up against Universal Pictures’Top Secret Untitled Lonely Island Movie. It’s possible that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 could put up even bigger numbers than its predecessor this coming summer, but we’ll have to wait and see.
