After a successful theatrical reboot with 2014’sTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the heroes in a half-shell are returning to save their beloved city in this summer’s follow-upTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. Just a few weeks after the second trailer debuted, Paramount Pictures has unveiled a third trailer, which highlights these turtles' skills, along with showcasing new footage. This sneak peek also features April O’Neil (Megan Fox) warningCasey Jones(Stephen Amell) that these turtles hit harder than anyone, while Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) doesn’t exactly appreciate Mikey’s (Noel Fisher) mohawk joke.

Aftersuper villainShredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop and Rocksteady, to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.PortlandiastarFred Armisenhas come aboard tovoice Krang, joining a stellar cast, although we don’t see him in this new trailer from theTMNT Movie YouTubepage.

It’s possible thatTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2could put up even bigger numbers than its predecessor this summer, but we’ll have to wait and see.

One reason why the sequel could out-gross 2014’sTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesis the debut of several fan-favorite characters from both the original comics and the animated series. The additions of Casey Jones, Baxter Stockman, Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady could strike a nostalgic chord with fans of the comics and cartoon series, resulting in bigger grosses at the box office.
