Ozzy Osbourne Became a Global Icon Thanks to ‘The Osbournes’
In 2002, Ozzy and his wife Sharon opened up their home to cameras forThe Osbournes, a reality TV show that elevated the family to a whole new stratosphere. The series followed the Birmingham-raised star’s life in Los Angeles with wife Sharon and two of their children, Kelly and Jack. While he was already a legend to many metalheads and music-lovers around the world, The Osbournes brought Ozzy’s life to a new audience, many of whom were not even alive when Black Sabbath started out. It is therefore not surprising to see tributes pour in from both fans and friends of the star.
