He serves as the primary subject of the new three-part spinoff series which has just made its debut on Netflix a month afterTiger King’s second season premiered. As far as PETA is concerned, the only news about Antle should be about theTiger Kingstar finally being held accountable for his alleged crimes....

A petition has surfaced online to remove Bryan Singer as director of theRed Sonjaremake. Singer has been subject to a great deal of controversy in recent years, given the various sexual misconduct claims made against him, which span decades. Recently, a bombshell expose revealed four new accusers who claim that the filmmaker committed sexual abuse against them when they were underage, ranging from fondling to sexual intercourse. In the wake of these new claims, a petition has been created to get him out of the director’s chair for his next big gig....

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Talesis a shoulder shrug entry in the blockbuster franchise. It’s an improvement over the last installment, On Stranger Tides, but suffers from a wildly uneven plot and character fatigue. The sizzle is somewhat lost because we’ve become so familiar with the production design and visual effects. The ghostly baddies and their carnivorous ship seems par for the course at this point. We do get the origin story of Jack Sparrow....

NASA has confirmedthat an asteroid bigger than any man-made structure in the world is hurtling towards Earth at a speed of almost 34,000 miles per hour. Where’s our version ofArmageddon’s Bruce Willis character when we need him? NASA’s Center for Near-Earth Object Studies (CNEOS) says the “potentially hazardous” asteroid could come into contact with Earth on February 15th, 2020, at 6:05 a.m. Eastern. Thankfully, it seems that the gigantic asteroid will miss us by a few million miles, so there’s no need to panic or celebrate (if you’re into that kind of thing) just yet....

Disney has found its lead for the new live-action retelling ofSnow White, in the form ofRachel Zegler. The actress is soon to be seen in Steven Spielberg’sWest Side Storyremake, and is currently filmingShazam! Fury of The Gods, so she is no stranger to big productions of late. Rectifyis a drama series created by Ray McKinnon and was actually the firstoriginal series from Sundance TV. The Southern Gothic show isa heartbreaking story, exploring the life of Daniel Holden (a powerful Aden Young), who returns to his hometown after he spent 20 years on death row for the rape and murder of his teenage girlfriend, a crime he claimed he did not commit. Viewers could only imagine the pain and simultaneous relief he must have felt when new DNA evidence proves his innocence after years of preparing himself for death....

The movie and TV world lost another beloved performer today, with Robert Guillaume, star of hit shows Soap, its spin-off Benson and movies likeThe Lion King, passing away at the age of 89. While no cause of death was given, the actor’s wife, Donna Guillaume revealed to CNN that her husband has battled with prostate cancer in the past few years. The second season of the anthology series Sacred Lies will feature a new cast and a storyline that draws inspiration from a story collected from the Brothers Grimm, The Singing Bone, as well as real-life murder cases.
