The director sent out an image from his first day on the set of thisStar Warsspin-off, hinting that he filmed a “cool scene” today. Since the earlier report stated that the new director, who takes over for Phil Lord and Chris Miller was going to spend the next few weeks looking over all of the footage that has been shot so far, it’s possible that he was simply rehearsing a scene to be filmed in the weeks ahead....

Ryan Murphy’s Netflix collaboration has been given a boost withThe Watchergetting a season 2 order, and his Dahmer-based dramaMonstergetting a further two seasons as an anthology series. Ryan Murphy has a solid relationship with the streamer, and with both shows drawing a lot of attention, it is not surprising to see Netflix jumping for more of the same. The Watcherdebuted on Netflix on October 13th and is based on the true story of a family who moves into their dream home but soon finds things turning into a nightmare when they receive mysterious letters from “The Watcher....

Knowing Reynolds' sense of humor, he’s more than likely just kidding around, especially since the titleDeadpool 2is pretty refreshing in the current landscape of movie titles.Solo: A Star Wars Story? None of these details have been confirmed at this time....

Becoming the Sorcerer Supreme is no easy task. Doctor Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) thought he had it in the bag. Sister Acthas just tappedInsecureco-executive producer Regina Hicks andStarshowrunner Karin Gist to write the sequel. The sequel is reportedly being developed for the Disney+ streaming platform. The studio originally wanted to make aSister Actremake back in 2015, but those plans ultimately fell through. However, Disney is now moving forward with a soft reboot that will reportedly focus on a brand-new cast and have no involvement with original starWhoopi Goldberg. As for whatSister Act 3will be about, the details are currently under wraps for the time being....

NASA has spotted a bit of familiar pop culture imagery on Mars, of all places. The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter recently photographed a dune on the faraway planet that looks suspiciously like a Starfleet logo fromStar Trek. The question is, how did such a thing wind up on Mars? The answer is possibly less exciting than the image itself, as it’s not rooted in some crazy sci-fi tale. Though, science, in its pure, real form, does have an explanation....

Star Wars Rebelsgives us a filler episode in Warhead, but not an unentertaining one. Zeb (Steve Blum) takes center stage with Chopper and AP-5 (Stephen Stanton) as sidekicks. I love AP-5’s smug demeanor. He’s a rare comedic element in the series. We also get another appearance by Agent Kallus (David Oyelowo) as the rebel’s secret informer,Fulcrum. Warhead opens with Star Destroyers launching dozens of probe ships into space. One of them crash lands on Atollon....

TheUntitled Gareth Edwards Directed Star Wars Spin-Offis expected to start shooting in the coming months, as we head into spring. The film will reportedly overlap withSpectreshooting at London’s Pinewood Studios sometime in late March or early April. Which means an official casting announcement should be made soon. In the meantime, we have a new rumor that reportedly already knows who will play a young Han Solo in this first standalone adventure....

Shortly after Relativity filed for bankruptcy in July, the production company claimed that they were still moving ahead with a fall production start onThe Crow, but that never happened....
