John Mulaney & the Sack Lunch Bunchwill return, but the hijinks are moving from Netflix to Comedy Central. The comedian has announced that he is coming back for two new specials, similar to the one that debuted on Netflix last December. Mulaney will host and executive produce the new installments. This is both a win for the cable network and something of a blow for Netflix, as the first special was received quite well....

Those working on a recent film shoot for Todd Phillips’Jokermovie apparently found themselves in a rather unpleasant situation, to say the least. According to reports, a group of extras werelocked in a subway carduring the shoot, with no access to a restroom. Claiming to be denied bathroom breaks over the course of hours, many of the extras wound up relieving themselves directly on the train tracks. It goes without saying that this was an uncomfortable situation for everyone involved, and the incident has already prompted an investigation from the studio....

Marvel Studios third Disney+ original sharing continuity with the Marvel Cinematic Universe is just a couple of weeks away. The six-episode miniseries will focus on Tom Hiddleston’sLokicaught in his time-variant thriller, where he tries to mitigate the chaos caused in the flow of time. Tom Hiddleston will once again star as the titular villain, this time leading an adventure of his own. For years, Marvel has been teasing aRunaways movie. In fact, it was originally planned for Phase 1, but it kept getting bumped by better known superheroes such asCaptain AmericaandThor. It was indefinitely delayed because Marvel decided to move forward onThe Avengersinstead. It was never subsequently announced thatRunawayswould be part of Phase 2 or Phase 3, though Marvel boss Kevin Feige refused to say the project was dead. Peter Tork, best-known for his work withThe Monkeeshas passed away. He was 77-years old. The multi-instrumentalist’s sister Anne Thorkelson, confirmed the news, but she did not provide any further details. Tork was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, adenoid cystic carcinoma in 2009. The slow-moving cancer effects the neck and head, but after receiving treatment, the musician made a full recovery and continued to tour, singing and playing banjo on nearly a nightly basis....
