Love weird comedy? Love TV shows that show Los Angeles at its least glamorous? Love Peter Stormare and Keanu Reeves? Then boy have we got a show for you. It’s calledSwedish Dicks. And we’re sure you have never seen anything quite like this before.

We recently caught up withPeter Stormare, who created the series, to talk about the show and what we can expect. The iconic cult actor was in the midst of shooting, so he arrived in costume. And he brought along his co-star Traci Lords, who, if you grew up in the 80s and 90s, needs no introduction. The pair make for quite a unique on-screen partnership. And it’s a lot of fun, to say the least.

Swedish-born Peter Stormare is best known as the sociopathic killer inFargo, and the bad-guy or the-odd-foreigner inArmageddon,The Lost World: Jurassic Park, andMinority Report. He stars in Starz' new original seriesAmerican Gods. Traci Lords was an infamous underage adult film actress before her dozens of roles in mainstream TV and movies.  Peter created and stars in the outrageous new POP comedySwedish Dicks, about a duo solving some of the strangest and wildest cases L.A. has ever seen. Traci has a memorable guest role as a competing detective. And it’s all pretty wild.

Co-created by Stormare,Swedish Dicksis a half-hour comedy about an aging ex-stuntman (Peter Stormare) stuck in the past and an overly optimistic Swedish DJ (Johan Glans) stuck in the digital world. Together they get unstuck by forming the private detective firm Swedish Dicks, solving some of L.A.’s craziest and hard to crack cases.. The 10-episode first season features an array of guest stars, including Traci Lords (Cry-Baby,Melrose Place), Margaret Cho (Fashion Police,Drop Dead Diva), Anthony LaPaglia (Without a Trace,Frasier), Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight,Suits) and guest starKeanu Reeves(John Wick,The Matrix). Keanu plays Tex, a deceased stuntman that haunts Stormare’s Ingmar, and serves as the connective tissue between each episode and its overall arcing storyline.

Peter Stormare made his American film breakthrough playing a quiet, sociopathic killer in theCoen Brothers' dark comedy,Fargo(1997) but was already a celebrated actor, director, producer and playwright in his native Sweden. Stormare is known for playing many mean-spirited villains, intelligent bad guys and strange foreigners in everything fromArmageddon,The Lost World: Jurassic Park, andMinority Report, among others and in TV, as John Abruzzi in the FOX hit TV-SeriesPrison Break, Berlin inThe Blacklistand Chernobog in Starz' new original seriesAmerican Gods.

Traci Lords is impossible to categorize.Kevin Smithcalled her an American Pop Icon. John Waters called her a sexual terrorist. She has appeared in dozens of films and television shows from Roger Corman’sNot Of This Earth,Cry Baby,Blade, toZack and Miri Make a PornoandExcision; fromMelrose Place,Roseanne,Will & GraceandGilmore Girlsto series regular roles on NBC’sProfilerand Syfy’sFirst Wave. Her autobiography Traci Lords Underneath it All (HarperCollins) was a NY Times bestseller.
