Cooper’s Barwill be keeping its doors open for longer for patrons with its upcoming episodes. Developed as a short form series that was made available for streaming on AMC+,Cooper’s BarstarsBetter Call SaulfavoriteRhea Seehorn, who also co-created the series and serves as a director and executive producer. The series was launched last year and was picked up for a second season after it earned Seehorn an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series.

Deadlinenow reports that an expansion of AMC Networks' Content Room has resulted in season 2 making the transition into a full-on TV series with 30-minute episodes. It’s also going to be heading to IFC before eventually hitting other platforms. Seehorn will be back alongside the show’s entire ensemble cast. Season 2 will also bring inBetter Call Saulco-star Patrick Fabian as well as Whitney Cummings and other guest stars.

Seehorn createdCooper’s Barwith Louis Mustillo (Mike & Molly). The series was inspired by Mustillo’s real-life Tiki Bar he runs in his Los Angeles home and follows a struggling actor (Mustillo) who pitches a Tiki Bar TV series to a Hollywood executive (Seehorn). The series also stars Casey Washington, DAvid Connolly, and Kila Kitu.

“We knew we had to follow the story of this crew of has-beens, never-was’s and maybe-could-be’s into a second season,” Content Room digital originals senior vice president Kevin Dreyfuss said when the show was renewed for season 2 last year. “Shows likeCooper’s Barare great creative playgrounds for our AMCN talent and a way to serve the fans something fresh. It was great to collaborate with Rhea and everyone else associated with the show on both sides of the camera for season one and we are looking forward to a fantastic season 2.”

WhileBetter Call Saulcame to an end last year,Cooper’s Barallows for one way for fans to keep up with Seehorn with her further creative endeavors. She also recently appeared in the sci-fi dramedyLinoleumwith Jim Gaffigan. Seehorn is also reuning withBetter Call Saulco-creator Vince Gilligan for her next major role, taking the lead in an untitled sci-fi series that’s heading to Apple TV+. The show has already been renewed for a second season ahead of its premiere, and there’s still very little that fans actually know about the show. All we really know for sure is that she’snotplaying Kim Wexler, as it has no connection in terms of story toBreaking BadandBetter Call Saul.

“I am excited that sometime soon, I’ll be starting Vince Gilligan’s new series,” Seehorn recently explained. “That will be on Apple, and I can’t tell you anything about it. It isnot related (toBreaking Bad), not at all.”

It’s not yet clear when season 2 ofCooper’s Baris heading to IFC.
