Ghostface Will be Bolder & More Brazen Than Ever Before in Scream VI

Scream VIseesScream2022 directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett return for more horror, with the former promising a much bolder and even more brazen version of Ghostface than ever before. “We wanted to make this really different, while still having all the stuff you love,” he said of Ghostface’s latest comeback. “Having a bolder, more brazen Ghostface was a big part of that.”

Returning star Jenna Ortega meanwhile hypes the fear factorsaying, “I think Ghostface is a lot more of a scary figure. I feel like we’ve always seen him as kind of a clumsy, funny almost killer. Where I think in this one, he’s actually, a lot of the deaths are very visceral and very, kind of tragic in a sense, which kind of brought in this more dramatic atmosphere.”

WithScream VIlooking to continue the quality and success of its predecessor, it should come as music to the ears of horror fans to hear that Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett aka Radio Silencehave already stated their desire to return for a seventh outing.
