After invading both the West and East Coasts in the first three movies, theSharknadosensation is heading to the Las Vegas desert inSharknado: The 4th Awakens. Last month, Syfy took advantage ofStar WarsDay (May 4) to debut a new, yet very familiar poster for this sequel, which spoofed last year’s blockbusterStar Wars: The Force Awakens. With just under two months left until this sequel debuts, the network has debuted a new trailer, which shows how some of Sin City’s finest strippers and Elvis impersonators defend themselves from this onslaught of sharks.
Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering) and April Wexler (Tara Reid) reprise their roles from the first threeSharknadomovies, withGary Buseysigning on to play April’s father.Sharknado: The 4th Awakenstakes place five years after the East Coast was ravaged in last summer’sSharknado 3: Oh Hell No!. Fin (Ziering), his family and the cosmos have been blissfully sharknado-free in the intervening years, but now sharks - and ‘nados! - are being whipped up in places (and ways) least expected.David Hasselhoff(as Gil Shepard) andRyan Newman(as Claudia Shepard) will also reprise theirSharknado 3roles, although we don’t see them in this footage that debuted onTwitter.

Lori Greiner(Shark Tank) is also playing a home shopping guru, while MMA fighterFrank Miris playing head of security for theSharkWorld hotel. Dr.Drew Pinsky(Loveline) will play a pastor,Patti Stanger(Millionaire Matchmaker) cameos as a reporter whileSlipknot’sCorey Taylorplays a Shark World hotel security guard.Vince Neil(Motley Crue),Wayne Newton(aka Mr. Las Vegas) andTodd,SavannahandGrayson Chrisley(Chrisley Knows Best) are playing themselves. We’ll have to wait and see when the next wave of cameo announcements will take place.
