Unveiled viasocial media, these new posters put the spotlight on some of the alternates that our hero Miles Morales will come across as he throws himself headfirst into the madness of the multiverse, including Daniel Kaluuya’s Spider-Punk, Karan Soni’s Spider-Man India, and Andy Samberg as Ben Reilly aka Scarlet Spider. The Spot Is the Real Villain in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

WhileSpider-Man: Across the Spider-Versewill find Miles at odds with the rest of his variants, the realvillain of the sequel is The Spot. A D-list supervillain whose body is covered in interdimensional portals, allowing him to travel through different universes,Scott Pilgrim vs. the Worldstar Jason Schwartzman will voice the character and is expected to be the main antagonist across bothSpider-Versesequels.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Versebegins with Miles Morales reuniting with Gwen Stacy aka Spider-Woman. Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is soon catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero, so he can save the people he loves most.

“Each world is a robust place. We’ve essentially made five films in one,”said director Joaquim Dos Santosof the sequel, with writer-producer Christopher Miller adding, “Our contract with the audience is to bring them something they’ve never seen before. The first film was about bringing characters into Miles’ dimension. This is about Miles heading off into others.”

Directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson from a screenplay by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and David Callaham,Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verseis scheduled to be released on July 02, 2025.
