The animated seriesStar Wars: The Bad Batchfollows the journey of a group of unique clones, known as Clone Force 99, as they navigate through the chaos of the fall of the Jedi and the rise of the Galactic Empire. Despite being considered defective, these clones use their genetic mutations to their advantage, even managing to evade theinfamous Order 66. However, during their adventures, the squad comes across a young girl named Omega, who shares a special connection with the well-known bounty hunter, Boba Fett. As a pure genetic replica of Jango Fett, Omega is actually Boba’s sister. This revelation has sparked interest in the possibility of a crossover between the two characters in the series.
The iconic bounty hunter, Boba Fett, has yet to appear on the animated seriesStar Wars: The Bad Batch, despite being the star ofThe Book of Boba Fettand being related to one of the show’s main characters, Omega. While the show’s producers have previously hinted at potential connections to other series in theStar Warsuniverse, it seems unlikely that a crossover between Boba and Omega will occur in the near future. In an interview withThe Direct, producer Jennifer Corbett spoke about the possibility of a Boba and Omega crossover and stated that it is unlikely to happen in the show’s second season.

“I think a lot of people want that because they are brother and sister but it’s important for her, at this point in her life, and where her journey is - she’s at a very different place than where Boba is right now.”

Star Wars: The Bad Batchhas returned for its second season, following the adventures of Clone Force 99 as they navigate life in a galaxy now ruled by the Empire. The season begins with the assumption that the Empire has killed the Bad Batch, which includes characters Hunter, Wrecker, Echo, Tech, and Omega. This allows them to operate with a degree of freedom as they undertake missions for their ally Cid, although they still face their share of danger and close calls.
Season 2 looks set to be an exciting one, with Dee Bradley Baker reprising his role as every member of Clone Force 99 and Michelle Ang coming back to portray Omega. This is particularly interesting as the reveal of what happened to Commander Cody after executing Order 66 will see the long-missed character reappear in the Star Wars universe, likely acting as an antagonist toward the heroic band of clones.
It’s likely that Boba Fett and Omega will eventually have a meeting at some point in theStar Warstimeline. However, we don’t necessarily need to see them interact right away. The transition between the Republic and the Empire is a time of great turmoil, so it makes sense that Boba Fett and Omega may not have an encounter while Clone Force 99 keeps Omega safe. However, perhaps Boba Fett will make his presence known later down the line. His physical skills and knowledge of the galaxy could be used to help Clone Force 99 in their fight against the Empire. This could even open up a new story arc for The Bad Batch, as Boba Fett’s arrival would give them more allies and resources. It would also add an exciting element of intrigue as we learn more about what Boba Fett and Omega have been up to.
