Star Wars Rebels Season 4 Soundtrack Reveals Huge Jedi Spoiler?

As fans continue the countdown to the final episodes ofStar Wars Rebels, with the back half of the fourth and final season debuting February 19 on Disney XD, new details have surfaced that present some massive spoilers for the final episodes. It has already been confirmed that Ian McDiarmind reprises his role asThe Emperorin the final episodes, although little else about the back half of this final season has been revealed. Disney XD and LucasFilm revealed last April thatSeason 4 will be the final seasonofStar Wars Rebels, with the first half of the season debuting in mid-October. The final seven episodes will air over a three-week stretch, with back-to-back episodes airing on February 19 and February 26, with the three-episode, 90-minute series finale airing on March 5. While there is still much that hasn’t been revealed about the plot quite yet, some of the tracks from the musical score were revealed, including Hera at the Wall, Sabine Sees Ezra and the track that reveals a potentially huge spoiler, Kanan’s End.

Disney XD and LucasFilm haven’t commented on this musical score track, but it seems that Kanan (Freddie Prinze Jr.) will ultimately meet his maker. With the arrival of The Emperor in the final episodes, it’s possible that he is the one who killsKanan, but that’s only a theory. There is also no indication as to where in these final seven episodes Kanan’s possible death may actually take place. This also comes just afterStar Wars Rebelsshowrunner/executive producer Dave Filoni shared a new photo on Twitter, showing Hera (Tiya Sircar) glancing at Kanan from a distance, which could possibly be foreshadowing his death.

With the arrival of The Emperor, it seems likely that the series could end just before the events the firstStar Warsmovie,A New Hope. It’s possible that there may also be some crossover with the 2016Star Warsspin-offRogue One: A Star Wars Story, which is set in the same timeline between the last prequel movie,Revenge of the Sith, and the start of the original trilogy withA New Hope. While Forest Whitaker returned to voice Saw Gerrera inStar Wars Rebels, it was confirmed this past fall thatRogue OnevillainDirector Krennic(Ben Mendelsohn) will not return for the animated series.

There have been rumors that the conclusion ofStar Wars Rebelscould lead to the announcement of a newanimated serieswithin theStar Warsuniverse.
