Following thenew photosfrom Warner Bros.‘Suicide Squadthat debuted earlier today, even more images have arrived from this superhero adaptation. The images come from the latest issue ofEmpire Magazine, and give us a better look at Katana (Karen Fukuhara), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), El Diablo (Jay Hernandez) Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman) and Slipknot (Adam Beach). If that wasn’t enough, we also have new shots of Deadshot (Will Smith) and The Joker (Jared Leto).

With this slew of new photos arriving over the past few days, hopefully this is a sign that we may finally get a second trailer forSuicide Squad, which wrapped production back in August. Thefirst trailerwas unveiled during Warner Bros.’ Comic Con panel, and after it leaked online right away, the footage was officially released shortly thereafter. With post-production in full swing, it’s possible that we may get a second full trailer soon, or perhaps by the end of this year.

Ever since this star-studded production was announced, most of the fans have been focused onJared Leto’sThe Joker,Will Smith’sDeadshotandMargot Robbie’s Harley Quinn. These photos help remind fans about how large and diverse this team of villains really is, who are all forced together byViola Davis' Amanda Waller. We still don’t have any official plot details yet, but there have been plenty of juicy rumors over the past few months to tide us over.

Although we didn’t see much of him in the first trailer, Rick Flagg is said to be the leader of this squad, assembled by Amanda Waller, although the details of their missions still aren’t clear yet. We do know that Batman (Ben Affleck) will show up at some point, since we saw this iconic character riding atop The Joker’s car in the trailer and numerous videos from the Toronto set. There have been rumors that The Joker is responsible for the death of Batman’s sidekick Robin, as evidenced in theBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justicetrailer where Robin’s suit is defaced with a message presumably scrawled by The Joker himself. There is also a rumor that The Joker and Batman may square off during a massive prison riot at the end of the movie.
