A blockbuster that will bring joy to everyone.” Hamza A echoes these sentiments, adding, “Best Superman movie in decades. Solid start to the DCU. David Corenswet embodies Superman perfectly and James Gunn gets the tone of the character down to a tee. Nicholas Hoult knocked it out of the park as Lex Luthor who was a great villain for a change.”

Fellow user noel J rewardsSupermanwith another five star review, saying, “I swear this might be one of the best comic book movies we’ve had in a long time. It’s crazy howJames Gunn was just made for this stuff. He really knows how to handle a character like Superman and bring out everything people love about him. The hope, the heart, the big hero moments, all of it feels right.” While Damon R offers hope to those who have longed for a more familiar version of the DC character. “FINALLY, a really good, comics accurate, Superman! Some people won’t like it, mainly because it completely reverses course from the darker Snyder version. But for those of us who grew up on DC cartoons or reading DC comics, you’ll probably love this,” they said alongside another five stars.
