Ryan Potter (Big Hero 6) has been cast as Garfield “Gar” Logan, akaBeast Boyin the new DCTitanslive-action series. TheTitansTV series has been under development for quite some time, going back as far as 2014, but nothing has come into fruition until now. TNT originally ordered a pilot, but later said in 2016 that they would not be going further with the project. In April of 2017, it was announced that the series was being redeveloped for DC Comics' new direct-to-consumer digital service and the show is expected to debut in 2018.
Ryan Potter is the latest actor to be cast, followingBrenton Thwaites(Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) as Dick Grayson, Anna Diop (24: Legacy) as Koriand’r/Starfire, andTeagan Croft(The Osiris Child) as Raven. Ryan Potter, 22, is best known as the voice of lead character Hiro Hamada in the 2014 Disney animated hit,Big Hero 6, based on the Marvel Comics team. He’s set to return to that character in Disney XD’s animatedBig Hero 6: The Series. In live-action, his most prominent role has been as the main character of Nickelodeon’sSupah Ninjasfrom 2011 to 2013.

The son of scientists living in Africa, he contracted a rare illness called Sakutia that is lethal to every species except the West African green monkey. To save his life, his father used an untested serum to change him into one of those monkeys for a day to kill the virus. But it unintentionally turned him green and gave him the ability to morph into any animal.
