The Boys: Diabolical Will Arrive Before The Boys Season 3

The animated spinoff will premiere on Prime Video at the start of March, as the wait for the live-action show’s third season will be a bit longer. It was recently announced that the third season ofThe Boyswill be premiering in June, giving the long-awaited return a summer release. While that is a while longer than many fans were hoping for, the good news is the animated spinoff will hold them over in the meantime.

There is also a separate live-action spinoff series that’s in development at Prime Video as well. This show spoofs the X-Men by following a group of young heroes in training at a school for rookie superheroes. That series doesn’t yet have a release date attached and it’s unclear when it’s expected to arrive.

“It’s a Vought-owned college where young kids with powers are trained as to how to be proper superheroes, all leading to an NBA-style draft at the end of the year,” showrunner Eric Kripke previously said of the spinoff, perTHR. “It’s sort of like a college sports show meets Fame, because they also have to go to acting classes and marketing classes. It’s going to be a very character-driven, hopefully incredibly realistic, college show.”
