Lionsgate announced last week that they will be showcasing the first footage from their highly-anticipated sequelJohn Wick 2during a New York Comic-Con panel on Saturday, October 8. To get fans ready for this upcoming footage, the studio has released a photo withKeanu Reevesas the title character, walking his new dog across the Brooklyn Bridge. After his adorable beagle puppy was killed in the first movie,John Wickgot a new dog in the original movie’s final scenes, who is happily still alive.

Back in June,Ian McShane, who returns as Winston, the owner of the Continental Hotel, revealed in an interview this June thatKeanu Reeves’John Wickhas a “new dog,” and it’s clear now that it’s still the same pit bull that he rescued at the end of the first movie. The new photo fromLionsgateshows that this puppy certainly may not be as easy to kill this time around. Hopefully we’ll get to see more of this dog when the first footage debuts at New York Comic Con next weekend. For those who won’t be able to attend the panel, it will also be streamed live via Twitch.
