A third movie in theWinnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honeyis now officially in the works. The news comes quickly following the theatrical release ofWinnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2, withVarietyrevealing thatWinnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3will have an even “bigger budget” that this year’s follow-up.Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3will also introduce several more beloved characters from the world of A.A. Milne, with Rabbit and the heffalumps due to be twisted and warped into nightmarish creations alongside the likes of Pooh, Piglet, and Tigger.

The announcement that Jagged Edge Pictures, Rhys Frake-Waterfield, and Scott Chambers will continue to cover the childhoods of many in blood and gore inWinnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3comes amid the sequel’s release, with the movie now playing as part of a three-day theatrical run.

In an exclusive chat with MovieWeb, terrifying tigger actor Lewis Santer reveals that Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 3 is in the works.

The threequel will also no doubt be part of thenewly announced ‘Poohniverse,’which will bring together the likes ofBlood and Honey’sPooh and Piglet alongside horror versions of Bambi, Pinocchio, Peter Pan and more for the crossover event moviePoohniverse: Monsters Assemble.

“Similar to The Avengers, we will follow Pooh, Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, Piglet, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty, Bambi, The Mad Hatter, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell joining forces to wreak havoc,” said Frake-Waterfield about the crossover. “We are working with a larger scale budget on this one and are excited for what the future will hold. When you see stand-alone movies, you will see the Easter eggs hinting toward the crossover. Some of the villains also will not see eye to eye, which will allow for some carnage within the group in some epic sequences of monster vs monster.”

Much like its predecessor, the horror sequel comes as a result of A. A. Milne and E. H. Shepard’sWinnie-the-Poohnow being in the public domain. The movie stars Scott Chambers as Christopher Robin, and Ryan Oliva as Winnie the Pooh, with Tallulah Evans, Teresa Banham, Peter DeSouza-Feighoney, Alec Newman, and Simon Callow in supporting roles.

WhileWinnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2was initially met with anunbelievable rating of 100%on the review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes, normality has now resumed, with the horror movie currently sitting at 53% with 19 reviews. The audience score, however, is notably much higher at 82%.
